Who We Serve
RDFA provides financial planning and investment management for “delegators” on a Fee-Only basis; we accept no form of commission based compensation. These people generally fall into one of two categories, explained below:
- Those that understand that they do not have the requisite skill set and aptitude to fully handle their own financial planning and investment management needs on their own. Because of this, they seek out a professional advisor.
- Those that may have the requisite skill set and aptitude, but do not feel that they have the time to adequately handle their financial planning and investment management affairs. This awareness causes them to seek out a professional advisory relationship in order to allow them to concentrate on other areas.
Our clients engage us to help them clarify and prioritize their goals and dreams, and determine how they can use their assets to reach them. Our goal is to help our clients create better futures by providing objective, personalized expertise and service.
Financial planning is an ongoing, dynamic process. Our clients keep us informed as to changes in their situation so we may continuously deliver value to them. The quality of our advice depends on the quality of information that is provided to us. By keeping an open dialogue about the goals that drive their life values, we can serve as a critical member of their overall advisory team.
Our clients recognize that we don’t always have the answers, as financial planning – like life – is not an exact science, but that we will always work to find answers while placing their interests first. They also recognize that there is no foolproof way to “beat the market”. While designing portfolios is one critical component of what we deliver to clients, it is only one component. Using the financial planning process to help clients meet or exceed their goals is how we define success, rather than outperforming indices.
